1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of EtBook (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Accounts & Eligibility

• You must be legally capable of entering into a contract in your jurisdiction
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and device security
• You will provide accurate information and keep it up to date

3. Use of the Service

• Comply with applicable laws and respect others' rights
• Do not misuse, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service
• Use exported data responsibly and protect sensitive information
• Respect role-based access and organizational policies within the app

4. Content & Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you add to the Service. You grant us a limited license to process and display your content solely to provide the Service. We retain all rights in our software, interfaces, and trademarks.

5. Service Pricing

EtBook is currently provided as a free service. All features including financial tracking, reporting, team collaboration, and data export are available at no cost.

We may introduce optional premium features in the future. If we do, any such changes will be clearly communicated in advance, and existing core features will remain free. You will never be charged without explicit consent and clear pricing information.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect and use information. By using the Service, you acknowledge our data practices as described in that policy.

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your data. You are responsible for keeping your device and exported files secure. Enable PIN and biometrics to add a layer of protection.

8. Third‑Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party services (e.g., file sharing, document pickers). Your use of such services is subject to their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third‑party services.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error‑free. You use the Service at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless EtBook and its affiliates from and against claims, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violations of these Terms or to protect users. You may stop using the Service at any time.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated inapp. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of your primary country of use, unless local laws require otherwise. Disputes will be resolved in courts with appropriate jurisdiction, unless alternative resolution is mutually agreed.
